In Classical Favourites you will find highlights of music literature from the beginning of the 17th century to the 19th century. Composers in those days were often employed by the church or the nobility, with much of their music written for special occasions. Many works have maintained their value and are still played worldwide. On the CD of Classical Favourites the accompaniment is played on an organ, giving you the impression of playing in a church or concert hall. The CD features demo tracks, with the solo part, to show you clearly how each piece should sound. In the book you will also find the piano accompaniment, which can be used by pianists as well as organists. Titles include CHARPENTIER Prelude; CLARKE Trumpet Voluntary; BACH/GOUNOD AveMaria; HANDEL Largo from Xerxes; MOZART Ave Verum; March of the Priests; SCHUBERT Ave Maria; MENDELSSOHN Wedding March; WAGNER Bridal Chorus; FRANCK Panis Angelicus.
