From Abracadabra to Alakazam, Igudesman uses the language of magic as a springboard to musical magic. Each of these solo gems is inspired by the history and meaning (or meaninglessness, in some cases) behind familiar incantations. Emmanuel Pahud says, "These alternating deep, spiritual pieces and graceful, rhythmical or dancing ones are a delight to learn and play." Some pieces require more skills than others, ranging from intermediate to advanced levels.
