The following rudimental style etudes were written employing traditional rudimental techniques, and in most instances the rudiments are used in traditional manner. Where the etudes do depart from tradition is in the use of time signatures. Rather than the use of standard 2/4, 4/4, 6/8 meters, 5/8, 7/8, 11/8, and other less common time signatures are used.
