Romantic. Mendelssohn's Zwei Geistliche Mannerchore (Two Sacred Sacred Choruses for Men's Choir), Op. 115 were supposedly composed in one day in 1833. The two contrasting a capella movements are: 1. Beati mortui and 2. Periti autem. They have been arranged for a 4-part trombone ensemble of intermediate level performers by Ralph Sauer. All parts are in bass clef.
