Immolation Scene, from Gotterdammerung Act III (Malmstrom)
Romantic. The final opera of Wagner's Ring Cycle is Gotterdammerung. The Immolation Scene occurs in the final part of Act 3, where Brunnhilde lights a pyre and the ensuing flames bring down the Hall of the Gods, consuming all within it as the curtain falls. Randy Malmstrom is never shy about attempting big arrangements and he has once again done a superb job. -the publisher
