Renaissance. Two lesser known antiphonal works from the famous Sacrae Symphoniae of 1597. Kyrie is a slow chorale and Gloria is an allegro. Both are for 12 trombones in three 4-part choirs. Clefs are TTBB-TTBB-TTBB.
Kyrie (C.43 as "Kyrie Eleison") is set here for 12 trombones. It was originally a motet for 8 voices in 2 choirs. Gloria (C.46) is a motet for 12 voices in 3 choirs.
