20th Century. A dramatic tone poem for 5 Horns by Kerry Turner, The Casbah of Tetouan was conceived during a visit to Morocco in the summer of 1988. Contains both muted and stopped horn sections as well as unusual effects such as whistling (or Chinese bell), and fingernails on the bell (or tambourine). Rich sonorities, challenging technical passages, variety of timbres, moods, tempi and key signatures. Duration is approxmately: 8:00 minutes.
