Earle of Oxford's March, The (Allen) [423.11 w/percussion]
Late Renaissance/Early Baroque. One of the most well known of William Byrd's works. Starts slow and stately but later requires a good deal of individual technical facility and ensemble cohesion to be successful. Recorded by Boulder Brass on their CD, "Bolder Baroque." One percussionist required to play deep tenor drum (no snares). Score & parts.
