Prelude No 7, BWV.852, from the Well Tempered Clavier, v.1 (Denroche) [211.01]
Baroque. This Prelude No. 7 is an early work and one of Bach's best known of what is now known as Book 1 of the Well-Tempered Clavier. There is much in this "little" work actually, the most extended in Book 1. Mr. Denroche's arrangement works perfectly for brass quintet and is transposed down to the key of C from the original E-flat. The range is modest and most moderately advanced groups can perform it. C & B-flat parts are supplied for the trumpets. -the publisher
