Liebeslieder Waltzes (Hall) [434.01 w/piano four hands]
The Liebeslieder Waltzes, Op. 52 are a collection of eighteen relatively short love songs originally for "voices" and 4-hand piano written quite quickly by Brahms in the summer of 1868. The composer meant them to be performed in parlors or informal home gatherings. Mr. Hall's arrangement of close to 30 minutes is for 12-part brass ensemble and piano 4-hands of advanced performers. Brass choir nstrumentation is: 4 trumpets, 3 horns, 4 trombones (3 tenor, 1 bass), tuba and 4-hand piano. -the publisher
