Renaissance. This transcription by Frederick Fennell utilizes three identical choirs. Each choir consists of a brass quartet comprised of 2 trumpets in Bb, F horn, and tenor trombone. The work is a classic example of the echo technique for which Gabrieliis so well known, with the three choirs echoing one another right from the outset.
