Horn, Bass Trombone and Tuba; Continuing in the post-minimalist style I had previously explored with Evolutions, Fleeting Visions is a somewhat dreamy, tranquil work. Musical colors come in and out of focus as though the listener is daydreaming, conjuring up visions in the mind's eye that flow together and transition seamlessly. Written for the unusual combination of horn, bass trombone, and tuba, the piece works equally well with any combination of low brass instruments. - the composer
