Romantic. Opera. Puccini's Nessun Dorma, from his final opera Turandot is arguably the most recognized song on the planet. It is a short 3-minute aria of extreme beauty and drama made famous by the great operatic tenor, Luciano Pavarotti. Wes Ballenger has arranged this work for solo trombone with a 4-part trombone choir accompaniment & optional timpani (5 parts total plus optional timpani). The solo part is for an advanced performer, however the accompaniment can be handled by intermediate performers.-the publisher
