Contrapunctus 10, from Art of the Fugue, BWV.1080 (Hornek) [210.11 or 211.01]
Baroque. Tenth movement (BWV 1080, Nr 10) of Bach's final opus, subtitled "Alla Decima." Originally written in 4-part SATB open score form, and now believed to have been intended for performance on the harpsichord. Contrapunctus X is an example of a 4-part double fugue. The trombone part is labeled for euphonium, but is absolutely performable upon trombone. As performed by the Harmonic Brass of Munich, Germany. Score & parts. -cdp
