Baroque. Seventh movement (BWV 1080, Nr 7) of Bach's final opus, subtitled "Per Augmentationem et Diminutionem." Originally written in 4-part SATB open score form, and now believed to have been intended for performance on the harpsichord. Contrapunctus VII is an example of a 4-part simple fugue with stretto.
