Classical. The sonata F Major op. 5, No. 1 by Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1728), originally written for piano and violoncello was written in 1796. The first movement of the sonata in F Major begins with a slowly introduction (Adagio sostenuto). After a dominant it passes over into a large dimensioned Allegro. The themes were played by both, by the solo part as well as by the piano part. Both instruments alternate as main voice. -the publisher
