Capriccio No 2, from Klavierstuecke, op 76 (Drei) [211.01]
Romantic. Brahms Capriccio No. 2 from Klavierstcke, Op. 76 is from a series of eight "character pieces" for piano. This genre became popular in the late 1870s. Schumann, Chopin, and Liszt also composed them. No. 2, in the key of G minor, is the most lighthearted of the grouping and has been arranged for standard brass quintet of advanced performers by Damiano Drei. This arrangement of about 3.5 minutes in length is fun to perform and to listen to. -the publisher
