Wenn Wir In Hoechsten Noethen Sein, BWV.432 (Hornek) [210.11 or 211.01]
Baroque. This work is sometimes included as a part of Bach's final opus, the "Art of the Fugue," a collection of Contrapuncti and Canons. However, it doesn't logically fit Bach's carefully constructed cycle of fugues(1). The trombone part is labeled foreuphonium, but is absolutely performable upon trombone. As performed by the Harmonic Brass of Munich, Germany. (1) From the Forward, by Davitt Moroney, of the G. Henle edition of Art of the Fugue, edition number HN423 (our number 01351) and HN9423 (our number 6093).
