Creative arrangements for brass quintet by David Baldwin who often incorporates clever musical fragments from other seasonal pieces. In "Joy to the World" he begins the piece with a quick Hallelujah Chorus reference and moves on to the main holiday theme. The God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen/Good King Wenceslas medley also incorporates material from Tchaikowsky's "Nutcracker." These are unique arrangements with interesting counter melodies and accompanimental textures. Some more advanced key changes, technical fingering and tonguing passages, first trumpet plays up to high C above the staff. -pc
