20th Century. American composer Raymond Eugene Premru (born 1934) wrote this work for trombone solo with woodwind quartet (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon). Movements are entitled: Soliloquy; Pastorale; Toccata. Although this is a trombone concertino, the woodwinds are of equal importance much of the time. Development takes place within those parts as well as in the solo part. - publisher.
